We just got back from a little trip to Albuquerque, New Mexico where we saw family, spent a day at the Balloon Fiesta and went to the Albuquerque BioPark & Aquarium. We had the best time, but it was busy, busy, BUSY! I seriously don’t think we even had time to stop for rest or relaxing (what is that with toddlers?) and had something planned for almost every hour of our time awake.
It may have been busy, but so many wonderful memories were made and new experiences were shared. I had been wanting to visit the Balloon Fiesta (more on that, soon) for as long as I can remember, so checking it off of my Bucket List was incredible. Doing all of this with my people made my memories so much sweeter.
We have never taken the girls to the zoo, so that was something I wanted to do on this trip. Albuquerque has a pretty great zoo, so if you ever get the chance to go, it’s very worth it! Laikyn loved the “giraffe-asis” and “all of them” while Lennyn really loved watching the monkeys. Super fitting, since she is a little monkey herself.
We walked through most of the zoo before getting on a train to take us to the aquarium.
