Oh did I ever enjoy it…and the best part? It’s still going! I don’t have school tomorrow, which means LONG weekend for me! Which also means, sleeping in…Live with Kelly in the morning….as many cups of coffee as I want…maybe a little sunshine therapy. Oh, I love days off!
Hubbs and I flew to Amarillo for the weekend, dogs in tow. It was Tuck’s first flight and Hydie’s second. They both did great! I’m so thankful they don’t get motion sickness and just go with our spontaneous scheduling. I can only hope our hypothetical kids will one day be as resilient. Key word: hypothetical.

Friday night, we went through the Parade of Homes in Canyon at Canyon East. I’m so proud for my dad and his partners who have developed this land from Kuhlman & Sons into this beautiful and growing neighborhood. They have done a spectacular job! Check out Southland Homes‘s website, and if you’re looking to build a home in the area..they are your people!
Here is a couple of the homes in Canyon East that we loved, and my very own street. 🙂 All of the developers used their kids’ names as street names. Here is Ashlee Lane. (I just wish I could live on it!) It will be so fun to show our hypothetical kids someday. Ha.
Then, we went to Saltgrass for a delish steak, sweet potato and a glass of Pinot.
Mom and I went to run errands & piddle around on Saturday.
