I was so honored to be a part of my best girl’s BIG day! She was the most gorgeous, laid-back bride I’ve ever seen. It was a perfect weekend full of wedded bliss. If only she would have packed me in her suitcase for Saint Lucia…..
I told her time and time again to savor every moment of the day. She did just that, and soaked it all in.
We started the weekend with mani/pedis on Thursday!
I got gold glitter shellac and chevron toesies! I love them!
Friday was rehearsal and rehearsal dinner. We did rehearsal at the church and it went really smoothly, and then we went to Oasis RV Resort for dinner! It was delish! Rafter G of Umbarger catered, and it was yummy as always. After toasting to the bride and groom-to-be, we said our goodbyes and went to get some good sleep before the big day.
Saturday morning :: THE BIG DAY IS HERE!!!
We got up early and headed to Timbercreek to have our girl time and start getting ready. We started the day with a bridesmaid brunch, and then hair and makeup came next. It was an effortless, very relaxing day.
We got to the church around 2:30 for pictures. Alex Blair did their photography and I can’t wait to see how the pictures turn out. Here is one from Alex Blair Photography of the gorgeous bride and groom.
The ceremony was short and sweet. 7 minutes to be exact, I think I heard someone say. Dinner, drinks and dancing followed at the Amarillo Civic Center. It was a perfect party! So fun to see all of our old college friends and dance with my sweet dad and handsome hubs.
Congratulations to Mr. and Mrs. Brittan Gruhlkey! Michelle, I am so lucky and blessed to have you as my best friend. I am so proud for you guys, and love you both! Now, just move to Seminole so we can live out our imaginary dream world….make it real life! 🙂
